I am an Ohio-based artist working primarily in watercolor and oil. My professional background in social work, violence prevention, and religious studies deeply shapes how I approach my art - teaching me to notice emotion, preserve narrative, and savor the quiet sacredness present in everyday life. I see painting as a form of listening—an act of care, reflection, and presence.

Rather than focusing on strict realism, I’m drawn to capturing the essence of a moment or the memory it leaves behind. My work is about bringing emotion to life through light, atmosphere, and softness, creating pieces that feel more like an experience than an exact depiction.
